Connecting CampTag to Adobe Analytics will enable you to submit Campaign URLs using CID, seamlessly and efficiently to the Adobe Analytics platform.
Connections are the latest CampTag feature to integrate with Adobe Analytics. To create a connection, you need the following information from your Adobe developer console - API Key, API Secret, Organization ID, Technical Account ID, Private Key, and Adobe RSID.
Here’s the process for creating and accessing these details from Adobe Developer Console:
Service Accounts allow applications like CampTag to interact with Adobe directly using the API credentials.
On the next screen, you can choose whether the Developer Console should generate a public/private key pair for you or whether you want to create it yourselves. Remember that Adobe will not store the Console-generated key pair. You have to download and save it for future use.
Once you click on Generate Pair, a zip file with your API’s public and private keys will be downloaded. Save it carefully since you will need to regenerate this key if you lose it.
You can also Generate another Key Pair or Upload another Public key from your system at this point.
Client ID, Client Secret, Technical Account ID, Technical Account Email, and Organization ID will be displayed on the Project Screen.
Copy API Key, API Secret, Organization ID, Technical Account ID, Private Key, and Adobe RSID to the ‘Create Connection’ Screen on app.camptag.ai. Click Submit to create a connection between CampTag and your Adobe Analytics APIs.
The all-new Integration with Adobe Analytics allows you to send Campaign Tagging URLs including Campaign ID or cid directly to your Adobe Analytics account.
Adobe Campaign URLs usually look like this:
https://camptag.ai?cid=562544
This CID value stands for all the standard and custom dimensions you want to include in your campaign tagging.
CampTag can help you generate these unique CIDs, map them to the dimensions you want, and send them to Adobe Analytics.
Choose CampTag today to make your Adobe Analytics Campaign Tagging a breeze.
